More Adventure Time!

Taiwan's Hi*Life is running a new Premium Program thru the 8th of April featuring the lovable duo of Jake and Finn!!!  This shows just how much the Cartoon Network Series has caught on in Taiwan.  Hi*Life is offering 4 cute tin can banks - 3 regular ones (pictured) and one Special Secret Design.   They are cuuuuute and the size of a soda can so they do not take up much space...  you guessed it, am collecting them!!!

They way it works is that you buy 2 cups of coffee at a time and you get 2 stickers... 10 stickers can redeem one premium...  fast track: 3 stickers plus NT$49, a little less than US$2.00 can also redeem for one...  Works for me as I usually get coffee at least once each day - and Hi*Life is the closest convenience store from us!!!

Early in March they will also introduced other Finn and Jake items for redemption... Plush Shoes and Travel Neck brace from what I have seen....  not sure if I will get those.... But they just might be great addition to my Jake beanie... :)

Adventure Time

 

Yes...  I did FINALLY break down and get these two....  been seeing them at Toys R Us each time but been resisting temptation....  I really do not need more new collection...  but this last visit, I broke down...  at least for these two...  and just in time as the collection are basically all SOLD OUT!!!

 

So how do I find them?   Well, am on the fence....  I love that they have a few articulations on them - but am not too happy with the bendy arms....  not much you can do with them....  Still, they are fun enough to add to one's collection....  especially if you are already a fan of the show!

Super Mario Bros X McDonalds . Week 3

This  has got to be my FAVE week for this McDonals Happy Meal Premium Program...  Why?  Because Yoshi the Dragon is released...  Even cuter as he is a roller...  Just pull back a bit, release and see him Go!!!

Actually both offerings - Penguin Mario and Dragon Yoshi -  this week are "Rollers"... And cute as Hell!!!  These will be available from Today, the 12th of Feb thru the 18th of Feb.  And btw, this time around, these cuties can only be had by buying the HAPPY MEAL...  unlike the previous offerings that can be purchased separately.  Am told they are made in lesser quantities this time.

Faking It!!!

A couple of days ago, I came across this LEGO like Robin..  

Thought it really was LEGO but when I asked the price, I knew it was too cheap to be LEGO...

It is in fact a FAKE, a Knock Off..  But a really good one...

Made by a company called SY - China, of course!

This is him with his packaging...  He is part of the Batman Series..  But like the LEGO Robins - he is also harder to get.  I liked him so much, i just had to pick up a few other ones...  

And I just might go back for more!!!

Lucky 7

This past Chinese New Year, i realized there were a total of 7 of these Lucky Cats around already...  And they really make a nice collection on their own!!!

I have had the 4 in the back for a while but the Silver version in the front (above photo) proved Elusive till Hot Dog Toyz helped me...  

Along with the two latest versions (photo below) of the Gold and the Black ones.

So now it is 7 and counting!!!  

Sure hope they really do bring Luck - one can never have enough Luck, right?

Meet Mr Gray Cloud

Mr Gray Cloud, the newest release from Fluffy House, Taiwan, is part of the belated XMas Goods I got yesterday....   and I could not be happier....  I like this version of Mr Cloud...  colors just right up my alley...   and this morning, the weather agreed with him, when I was taking photos of him.... it was indeed, Cloudy!

Admiring the Gloomy Skies?  Or reveling in it?

The Still Popular, Nintendo Game Characters are being offered

by McDonalds as their current Happy Meal Premium Toy Program...  

Mario Brothers, the Princess, the Dragon, and the rest if the gang are being offered - 2 at a time...  Started this past week, 2 Premium Toys will be released each week till the 25th of February...  

I have not collected anything based on this Nintendo characters before ( Except for a dragon and one of the mushroom head guy..) but am actually loving these... Especially this Dragon.... He is just too cute!!!

Now that is something else to Love about February, right?
