Through the Magic Door!

McDonalds' current Happy Meal Premium Toy program is a collection of Doraemon goodies... all too cute, of course...  But having way too many Doraemon vinyls on hand, I opted to skip it all...  All but one, that is!  I could not Pass Up this Pink Door box offered...

 It doubles as a music box but for me, the Bonus is that it is an almost Perfect size

for my Doraemon Bearbrick!!!

Keeping Time with Doraemon

Today starts 7-11's newest Premium Program  starring Doraemon and Friends!!  This time around, Doraemon and the rest of the Gang will be offered as Vinyl figures on top of mini clocks - so you know, keeping time has just gotten a whole lot cuter!!!

A total of 6 are being offered, but am guessing, additional ones will be introduced later in the program.,.,  as they have done so in the past...

DORAEMON Celebrates a Milestone!!!

Everything's coming up DORAEMON lately...   why, because this Popular Manga/Anime character celebrates a BIGGIE...  100th BDay before the birth of Doraemon!!!  Does not compute to most, am sure, but you see - in the story of Doraemon, he was born September 3, 2112 - a year from now....  Still, confusing?  well, nevermind, instead FEAST yourself on a few DORAEMON goodies coming out at all directions celebrating this big event...

 

In Kawasaki City, the birthplace of the late Doraemon co-creator Fujiko F. Fujio (born Hiroshi Fujimoto), is giving away Doraemon's certificate of residence at the city for free. The city presented Doraemon himself with his certificate at the local Fujiko F. Fujio Museum yesterday afternoon, his actual Bday... The museum btw, opened  exactly a year ago on September 3, 2011, and has wowed over  500,000th visitors so far....
