Keeping Time with Doraemon

Today starts 7-11's newest Premium Program  starring Doraemon and Friends!!  This time around, Doraemon and the rest of the Gang will be offered as Vinyl figures on top of mini clocks - so you know, keeping time has just gotten a whole lot cuter!!!

A total of 6 are being offered, but am guessing, additional ones will be introduced later in the program.,.,  as they have done so in the past...

tokidoki Kittys starts now!!!

Yep, Taiwan 7-11's newly announced Premium program starts today...  this time showcasing another cute crossover, Tokidoki X Hello Kitty.... 

A total of 12 different Hello Kitty figures dressed as well known Storybook characters (Snow White, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Cinderella, The Frog Prince,  Little Red Riding Hood, etc) are sure to delight and thrill young and old alike....  even those of us not so much into Hello Kittys....   or still in DENIAL about it....   :)  A Special cardboard case (for an extra fee) is even offered to showcase them all in!!!

You know who will be sipping lots of JAVA here!!!  LOL!!!

DORAEMON Celebrates a Milestone!!!

Everything's coming up DORAEMON lately...   why, because this Popular Manga/Anime character celebrates a BIGGIE...  100th BDay before the birth of Doraemon!!!  Does not compute to most, am sure, but you see - in the story of Doraemon, he was born September 3, 2112 - a year from now....  Still, confusing?  well, nevermind, instead FEAST yourself on a few DORAEMON goodies coming out at all directions celebrating this big event...

 

In Kawasaki City, the birthplace of the late Doraemon co-creator Fujiko F. Fujio (born Hiroshi Fujimoto), is giving away Doraemon's certificate of residence at the city for free. The city presented Doraemon himself with his certificate at the local Fujiko F. Fujio Museum yesterday afternoon, his actual Bday... The museum btw, opened  exactly a year ago on September 3, 2011, and has wowed over  500,000th visitors so far....

Open-chang Turns 7!

Yes, Open-chang and his friends, this month, turns 7.... Fancy That!

Who would have thought that these cute little characters, definitely made and conceived in Taiwan, would turn out to be such a biiiiig hit Island wide... And beyond as I have seem Tourists from Japan, Korean and so on, hoard Open-chang items at various 7-11... Just recently, i came across a trio of JAL stewardesses ogling all the offerings at the 7-11 Song Shan Airport branch.,,

This month, to commemorate the cast of characters birth date, 7-11 issued so many items - both for sale and as Premium Giveaways.... All up there in the cute-o-meter!

And as am added bonus, a commemorative 7th Anniversary book/ magazine is issued.... Filled with so much info: Open-chang and company's history... All the In store promotional Premium goodies..
