My Melody and Twin Stars Celebrates 40 Years in the limelight

 and in Taipei they get celebrated with a 40th Exhibition!!

Lots of licensed goods have been coming out, of course...  From clothing, to Stationary, to Household goods, etc...   My most FAVE one to come out is this My Melody Bearbrick from Medicom Toy - No Surprise There!  

She arrived just in time too - so she got to attend the exhibition with us!!!

3rd Week into the minions Premium program and am happy to say I got both from this week... 

 only the first day and am told they are just about all gone....  and I believe them as last week,

 I missed out on one as I was away for a few days... and did not think twice

 that they might be all gone right away....

Everybody's fave - mine and Juju 

As well - the Minions are back!!!  This time with their own movie...  The Good News is that, McDonalds has tie in Premium toys once more!!!  10 of them to be exact.

The sad news is that they only release two each week...  Never a good thing for me, as for sure I will end up missing some due to my traveling schedules. I envy those in the Philippines as they were able to get all right away, it seems.

The first two that came out this week - the one on the left talks, while the right one has movable eyes!!!  Needless to say, they are already Sold Out!!! Wish us luck for the next ones...  

Spotlight on Shaun The Sheep

With 2015 being the Year of the Sheep, Shaun The sheep seems to be taking center stage here in Taiwan.

Coinciding with the movie's release around Chinese New Year, McDonalds offers a few Shaun The Sheep toy in their latest Happy Meal Premium Program.  

I for one is excited over this....  And yes, I will be trying to get them all!

Taipei Toy Festival 2014

Yesterday was a fun filled day attending the Annual Taipei toy Festival....  Not as big as the last few ones I have attended but just as wonderful and jam packed with so much Vinyl Goodies!!!  So crowded it was that it was mind boggling how to, not just navigate to where your faves are - but also quite hard to get close to see the goods once you have managed to find the booths of your choice.

Still, manage we did.....   and a Fun Time was had by all...  as always!!!

Another FAVE and MUST TAKE HOME each and every visit to the Taipei Toy Festival: Fluffy House's denizens....  Their Diorama Displays for this year are quite cute....  Will make you feel the need to have your very own... Sorry Not For Sale!  Though the clothing are quite cute, too - had to Pass as they were a bit on the pricey side!!!

Cheeky Devils

Day 10 - "31 Days of Halloween"

Have always lived these little devils..  Not really sure what they are? When they were released? Or by what company?  

Happened upon them in a shop display and they were the last ones - the shop owner, after a bit of pleading sold them to me..  Though they did not have boxes anymore, nor can he give me more info on them - I was quite happy!!!

They come out each and every Halloween Season!!!

How To Train Your Dragon Premiums

Got into this a bit late as this week is the last week McDonalds is offering these collection of cute Dragons from the newly released,  How To Train Your Dragon 2 movie, via their Happy Meal Premium Program.

Late last week we were able to get these two on the last day they were being offered.

It's Moomin Time

Guess I will be having coffee from Hi*Life for a while!!!  They are running a Moomin Premium Program right now...  Started a couple of days ago and will run thru the 2nd week of July.

Sadly no Vinyl toys at this time... Just bags, totes and Zippered Plastic envelopes - but with the Moomin Graphics on them, they are definitely not ones to pass up on!!!

Even the illustration on the packaging is too cute!!!

The way to collect is by buying coffee, of course...  1 Coffee = 1 Sticker Point.  

15 Sticker Pointscan redeem for one of the Premium Goods.  

For fast track collectibg, 3 Sticker Points plus NT$69 will do...

Was LUCKY enough to get the One I wanted at the get go...  There are 3 variations on this Zipperd envelope bag - with different Moomin illustrations on them:  

Pink, Yellow and This Blue one.

Marvel X Family Mart

It's Marvel time once again..  What with the release of Captain America 2, Spiderman 2, and XMen soon - Marvel Heroes are popping up everywhere..  From tees to school supplies to snacks...

My Fave one this season is the current Premium Program from Family Mart:  Cool Colorful  Tumblers with vinyl Marvel Heroes on top of the caps....

The tumblers are made of sturdy hard plastic and comes in different colors...  Available Marvel Heroes are Captain America, Spiderman, Thor, the Hulk, and Ironman... One cannot choose though as they come in blind boxes..   I was lucky enough to get Captain America and Thor right away - the ones i really wanted..,

Another program happening at the same time are these mini Marvel figures that one can purchase for NT$49 along with a couple of the drinks in the poster.  This one is proving quite elusive for me as all Family Marts are always Sold Out.

I also love these Pea Crackers with the Heroes on the packages..  Quite fun to take when seeing the Marvel films..  Show one's dedication to the World of Marvel!!!

Yes, that's right..  Line up at 7-11 for the exciting LINE collections being offered for their brand new Premium Program that commences today! This coincides with the current LINE Exhibition happening in Taipei right now!!!  (See Above Photo)

More Adventure Time!

Taiwan's Hi*Life is running a new Premium Program thru the 8th of April featuring the lovable duo of Jake and Finn!!!  This shows just how much the Cartoon Network Series has caught on in Taiwan.  Hi*Life is offering 4 cute tin can banks - 3 regular ones (pictured) and one Special Secret Design.   They are cuuuuute and the size of a soda can so they do not take up much space...  you guessed it, am collecting them!!!

They way it works is that you buy 2 cups of coffee at a time and you get 2 stickers... 10 stickers can redeem one premium...  fast track: 3 stickers plus NT$49, a little less than US$2.00 can also redeem for one...  Works for me as I usually get coffee at least once each day - and Hi*Life is the closest convenience store from us!!!

Early in March they will also introduced other Finn and Jake items for redemption... Plush Shoes and Travel Neck brace from what I have seen....  not sure if I will get those.... But they just might be great addition to my Jake beanie... :)
