UniQlo X Bearbricks

Am sure many of you fellow Bearbrick lovers are already aware of the Bearbrick tees currently being sold by UniQlo....  First Shanghai...  then Hong Kong just started selling them the last few days... and next month, Malaysia is said to start carrying them...  -- To date: still no word if Taiwan UniQlo will be carrying them... :( -- If you have not, please click here to read more and see photos: UNIQLO X BEARBRICKS.

 

Of course it makes sense to have accompanying Bearbricks to go with the offer....   first off I was only aware of two kinds that was going to be offered by Hong Kong as Premiums, with Tee Shirts purchased...  Right away it caused excitement and a headache for Bearbrick Lovers all over...  myself included...  How to get?  Who to reach out to to help acquire - since it seems to be Hong Kong's Exclusive offering....  

Well, the excitement and headache just multiplied as recent posting of the Premium Program Flyer surfaced - not only two but 9, yes 9 Bearbricks will be offered for redemption... and the way it works is that: for every 3 tees purchased - you are entitled to redeem one of the BBs... waaaaaah....

  

 

I think for most the problem does not lie as to whether or not to purchase enough to get all 9 BBs, but as to how to get them if one lives outside Hong Kong......  HELP!!!

Little KAWS, Big Happiness

Stumbled upon a couple more KAWS...  This is the design combo I like so I broke down, even though I try to stay away from anything but 100%...

These little guys are 70%...  Never removed from their packages - so quite mint!   Of corse they had to come out right away - or no Fun at all!!!

it's raining be@rs!!!

Just back from a week long getaway to Jeju Island, South Korea last week....  it was nice, beautiful really....  relaxing and a lot of fun...  only thing missing was Be@rbrick sighting....   not a single Be@rbrick in sight ('cept for the three that I carried with me..)....  Everywhere I looked - NOTHING...   I did spot  little Qees and China made copies of Be@rbrick waanabees - but that was all...  So, not a single purchase to remember the trip by.... 

 

Still, I am not complaining as, upon my return, waiting for my at the mail box was a package from JAPAN....  weeeeeeiiiiiiii....  it's raining be@rbricks, alright!!!  More than half of the collection I did not have yet - so they are a nice amount addition to my collection....  the others will try to sell off here and there.....  :)

Am soooo ecstatic upon finally getting now only the 60th Anniversary Fred Perry Be@rbrick in Navy...  but this week, I was also able to receive the Mini Premium Fred Perry Be@rbrick - all XClusive to Japan only!!!   I was feeling rather LOW over these guys for a while now, but I never lost hope.....  and now I can attest that Dreams Really Do Come True!!!  :)

Actual 100% 60th Anniversary Fred Perry Be@rbrick...  the First Version to come out....  Had to  purchase a POLO to be able to acquire one of these Limited Quantity Offer...    I did not mind at all as already a BIG FAN of the brand....   Got me the Japan Xclusive "Crazy Colors Polo" - Black with bright colors detailing...)

Little Fred with my Khaki Cap!  How could you not fall for this cutie - just look at his Polo with that Laurel Logo Print.....   Inspired!!!

This week, I was the LUCKY recipient of these UBER CUTE mini Fred Perry Be@rbricks - 6 styles total - love them all, so it is very hard to pick a FAVE... LOL....

Offered through a promotional premium program with Lipton Ice Tea in Japan Only.....   am still in 7th Heaven over these cuties, I cannot even get myself to take them out of their packaging yet....  maybe if I had a 2nd set to play with... hahahahahaha.....

Now if only I can get the BEAMS' 100% Orange Version one

- my collection would be complete!!!

I still have not been able to secure myself one of the 60th anniversary Fred Perry one released early this year and word of not one, but a few more Fred Perry Be2rbricks have surfaces.....

  what to do? what to do?  How do I get my hands on these?

A 2nd 100% version in Orange color came out this March... Japan only, of course!  I believe this one was sold the the BEAMS Boutique only.

...and come next month - 6 variations of 70% Fred Perry Be@rbricks will be offered through a promotional tie in with Lipton Tea - once again, in Japan only... BOO HOO.....  HELP!!!
