The second set of this cute Disney Halloween collection has the same 9 characters dressed as ghosts - and I dare say, they are the cutest ghosts ever!!!

As cute as they are, some collectors feel they are quite plain...  Leave it to Medicom Toy to make these Bearbricks come alive....

BBs in Nagoya... Not!

Just got back from a wonderful week in Japan..  Was in the Nagoya area and some of the beautiful little towns close by...  

Was in search of Be@rbricks of course... But to no luck at all..  I mean, I looked around so many shops..  Department stores and all...  Saw some of the clothing shops that produced BBs, but none to buy at all!!  Waaaaaaah...

Am just Thankful I brought along a few for some Photo Fun!!!

Fashion Week Bearbrick Style gets underway big time with the arrival of Isetan Men's 20th Anniversary offering...  Not one, not two but Ten...  Yes, Ten designers in one Special Edition offering.  

Sold only in Isetan Japan, this set was released end of February - not quite sure of it's Limitedness bit with the higher price point, am pretty sure it is not too many.  Lucky are those who were able to get them - myself included!!!

Sadly while I was pulling some green BBs, I came across this casualty - Series 14 CUTE Secret...  Waaaaah..  She is one of my FAVE one, she's even traveled with me to Thailand and the Philippines before...  Her one arm and one leg broke off and where they connect to the body are stuck inside the broken arm and leg...    I could glue it back on but it means they can never be moved again...  And that would be sad...Boo Hoo..  I can only hope I find her again..  And at a reasonable price, too!

Lucky 7

This past Chinese New Year, i realized there were a total of 7 of these Lucky Cats around already...  And they really make a nice collection on their own!!!

I have had the 4 in the back for a while but the Silver version in the front (above photo) proved Elusive till Hot Dog Toyz helped me...  

Along with the two latest versions (photo below) of the Gold and the Black ones.

So now it is 7 and counting!!!  

Sure hope they really do bring Luck - one can never have enough Luck, right?

Whole Again!!!

A few days ago as I was setting up my Chinese New Year display, I had a bit of an accident...  As I was positioning the Lucky Cats, I dropped the Red one, about 6 feet above ground...  Though they do not really get destroyed,  he did come apart and pieces flew here and there...  Got most of the pieces together but Sadly, i lost one of his hands...  For over 3 hours i searched under all the furnitures...  Looked in every nook and cranny - no luck...  So he was left looking sad with one missing hand.

Days passed and I feel even sorrier for him...  Felt frustrated and was even  a tiny bit mad at myself for being a klutz..,

Today as I was cleaning and sweeping the whole house once more...  sweeping once more under all the cabinets and furnitures...  Hoping... Praying...   My Prayers were answered...  Lo and behold, it turned up!!!

And Lucky RED Cat is whole again...  Once more he can stand proudly next to the other three....  Much to my Joy!!  Here's hoping they really bring me "goodluck" this coming Year of the Horse!!!

Let's Get the "Christmas Party" Started!!!

Got these back in December when it came out but am just now getting around to posting them..  Was having too much fun over the Holidays!!!   LOL!

This year, I was sooo excited about this collection, I had to break down and get all!!!  The designs are much cuter plus lots of new and more modern characters...

A friend in Japan offered me his 9 extras (see above photo) for pretty much the same price he got them for - so I snapped them up right away!!!  Then my BB heaven of a shop, Hot Dog Toyz in Taipei completed it for me..  So I got all 24...  Yeah!!!

I even got the L@st special one... A much harder to get one - and this time around it is even packaged in a snowglobe type packaging...

Note: as with the previous years, a 400% was issued as well...  But I opted out of it, as I limit my 400% collecting to just the Designer Tie In & tokidoki ones I really like...
