SCORE!!!  Got the third release of this Skytree Shop's Exclusive Limited Edition 100% Bearbrick...   The Uber Cool design looks even better in Red!!!  I do hope they come out with more of them in other colors.

Had basically given up in finding this one - too limited and too expensive...but a couple if days ago - I stopped by to pick up the newer released Set of 2 Porters and lo and behold, Yi presented me with this one!!!!  Sweet Surprise!!!!

Polpettina: Platinum Version

One rainy day last week, decided to take a stroll out and just walk around a few of my favorite Toy Haunts in Taipei.  Went to Monster Taipei - been a while since I was there  last...  Not only did I get to see a cool exhibition - I happen upon this Silver color variation of Polpettina, from the very popular Cactus Family by tokidoki.

Though I have had the regular pink version since it first came out in the late 2000s, I never knew of this variation...  Googling did not work well for me.. that is because I kept googling "Silver" version - only to realize later on that it is known as a "Platinum" version!

Apparently, back in 2008, tokidoki released not one but four Platinum Specials for the Sad Diego Comic Convention - with this Polpettina being one of them...  How Lucky I am to stumble upon her, after all these years..  And here in Taiwan, too!  And the best part, I paid basically what the regular pink version retails for - Yowza!!!

Have had this set since early this year but never got around  to posting..

The second set of this cute Disney Halloween collection has the same 9 characters dressed as ghosts - and I dare say, they are the cutest ghosts ever!!!

As cute as they are, some collectors feel they are quite plain...  Leave it to Medicom Toy to make these Bearbricks come alive....

Fashion Week Bearbrick Style gets underway big time with the arrival of Isetan Men's 20th Anniversary offering...  Not one, not two but Ten...  Yes, Ten designers in one Special Edition offering.  

Sold only in Isetan Japan, this set was released end of February - not quite sure of it's Limitedness bit with the higher price point, am pretty sure it is not too many.  Lucky are those who were able to get them - myself included!!!

Another early 2014 release are these "Tommy NY" follow up set...  Using the Glow in the Dark features, these Tommy Hilfiger Japan  Bearbicks are proving to be quite popular.  This BE@RBRICK TOMMY,  comes in two colours, black and sliver respectively, that can glow in the dark.

TOP FLAP Packaging Art - Just Fabulous!!!  Am normally a DeBox the toys and throw out the packaging kind of collector - but the art work on tokidoki goodies always makes think twice...  Can you blame me???

Let's Get the "Christmas Party" Started!!!

Got these back in December when it came out but am just now getting around to posting them..  Was having too much fun over the Holidays!!!   LOL!

This year, I was sooo excited about this collection, I had to break down and get all!!!  The designs are much cuter plus lots of new and more modern characters...

A friend in Japan offered me his 9 extras (see above photo) for pretty much the same price he got them for - so I snapped them up right away!!!  Then my BB heaven of a shop, Hot Dog Toyz in Taipei completed it for me..  So I got all 24...  Yeah!!!

I even got the L@st special one... A much harder to get one - and this time around it is even packaged in a snowglobe type packaging...

Note: as with the previous years, a 400% was issued as well...  But I opted out of it, as I limit my 400% collecting to just the Designer Tie In & tokidoki ones I really like...

Amuroch X Chapter X Be@rbrick

Recent acquisition is this really  cool, and quite cute, Amuroch  Bea@rbrick..  It is a collaborative character between the very popular MTV Japan animation series Usavich and personL fave, Japanese singer and dancer Namie Amuro. 

The Be@rbrick was sold in collaboration with Japanese retailer Chapter World and could be purchased with a Mini Tote Bag or a T-shirt.  You can choose either one, just do not pass up on this Cutie!
