Haunting Starlight Yoshiki

Day 29 - "31 Days of Halloween"

 

This OOAK Starlight Yoshiki is a gift from a Bay Area friend, talented designer and fellow toy lover, Gary Fritts....  The doll is originally a Starlight Yoshiki doll... rerooted, face made up, and tailor made costume for one AWESOME Creation. 

Starlight Yoshiki is the front man for Popular Japanese band "X"...  Takara produced 3 versions of this doll in replica of his original clothing.   The dolls were produced in Limited Quantity and were released in 1992.   Not really part of the Jenny Doll line but he has been relegated by collectors as a Jenny friend anyway.

"Three by Gary Fritts"

These Takara bois I have had for many years now... All dressed in OOAK costumes made by my friend, Gary Fritts, back in the Bay Area days... Raph and Jeff are actually wearing replicas of Halloween costumes I have worn in the past.. Also made by Mr Fritts!  Sadly, nowadays they only get to come out during Halloween.

Day 29 of our "31 Days of Halloween" project introduces us to possibly my most Favorite Unicorno of the recently released Series 3 Unicorno - from Simone Legno & tokidoki brand!

That floral skull hair ornament totally won me over - just perfect for her to join the Bearbrick Muertos in my Halloween display!

Los Muertos

The Muertos from 2013 stars in Day 13 of our "31 Days of Halloween".  The white Murtos are the Hoor entry of Series 26 - loved them so much, I had to get more than 1...  I got 7 of them!!!

This was a total treat for me..,  a Muerta to go with the Seven white ones.  

She was The annual Halloween Bearbrick for the same year, 2013.

Pumpkin Tofu

This little guy I have had for many years now...  

Am not really a Tofu vinyl collector - I think I only have about 6 in my collection

 - but now and again, I come across one I really like...  Like Him!!!

Good enough for a spotlight on the 12th Day of the "31 Days of Halloween" project.

Day 10 - "31 Days of Halloween"

Have always lived these little devils..  Not really sure what they are? When they were released? Or by what company?  

Happened upon them in a shop display and they were the last ones - the shop owner, after a bit of pleading sold them to me..  Though they did not have boxes anymore, nor can he give me more info on them - I was quite happy!!!

They come out each and every Halloween Season!!!

Operetta is the one that started me on collecting MonsterHighDolls, really... 

Thought I would just get all of her issued but am now at a bit shy of 50...  Oh My Horrors!!!

Operetta  is joined bya 100%  Bearbrick Jack from Medicom Toy,  Hello Kitty PEZ dispenser,

and Bambu - a  tokidoki Unicorno from Series 2.

A Couple of Cleos!!!

Day 8 of our 31 Days of Halloween puts the Spotlight on a couple of Cleos...

 One is a Monster High Beauty...  And the other is from Series 3 of the newly released Unicorno by tokidoki.  Both of them takes after the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra, of course!!!  

Monster High Doll's Cleo is one of the sultriest amongst all the ghouls!!!

Cleo is one of the 12 Recently released Unicorno Series 3 by tokidoki.
